An Eastern NC Senior Spokesmodel Session in Historic Bath & Goose Creek State Park

When planning a senior portrait session, blending classic charm with wild, natural beauty is always a winning combination. For a recent session with one of my Class of 2027 Spokesmodels, we set off towards Historic Bath, NC!  The bugs may have been a little prevalent but we didn’t let this stop us from having the most fun!  I wanted to share this blog to showcase just how much can be captured in a session.  By being a CWCP Spokesmodel, you are guaranteed my Signature Session which is two hours from start to finish.  If you want to learn more about being a Spokesmodel, be sure and check out my blog on this here!  Throughout this entire time we were able to capture two locations and multiples outfits while grabbing a few couples portraits in their, too!

From the quiet, tree-lined streets of Historic Bath, NC to the breathtaking water views with mossy trees at Goose Creek State Park, this session captured everything we love about celebrating senior year.

Part 1: Timeless Coastal Charm in Historic Bath, NC

We kicked off the afternoon in historic Bath which is North Carolina’s oldest town. Tucked along the Pamlico Sound, Bath offers a serene, timeless atmosphere that immediately set a relaxed tone for the day. We spent our time literally one one block which gave us a lot of variety!  We went from historic built stone walls to simple light and bright airy porches!  Cassie brought the absolute best energy and flawless style, effortlessly moving from casual chic laughter to graceful, editorial poses. The soft coastal breeze off the water gave every photo that natural, effortless feel we strive for in senior portraits.  She began with two outfits here and carried one over to the next location which is about a 10 minute drive.

Part 2: Golden Hour at Goose Creek State Park

As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, we made the short drive down the road to Goose Creek State Park. If you’ve never visited Goose Creek before it is BEAUTIFUL.   The walk isn’t that bad from the parking lot to the beach access and once there, the dramatic Spanish moss adds so much!  This fall the mosquitoes have been something I haven’t had to fight before!  Luckily, Cassie had the BEST attitude all around!  Not being annoyed by the bugs and ready to jump in the water at the end, her demeanor truly showed throughout her session!
