Things have come full circle with this High School Senior’s session. Only 5 years ago I was photographing her sister, Grayson. This was just as I was beginning my business. Grayson has now graduated from Barton College and is now an incredible asset here in Wilson County Schools. I couldn’t help but joke with Emerson about both parents being there for her sister’s senior session. I remember remarking, “So this is what it’s like to be the second child?” We ALL know this isn’t a thing…. or is it?
Emerson was confident and independent throughout her entire session! From the first time she touched based about being on the Spokesmodel Team, she has been so professional and prompt in her conversations, posts and replies. This was no different!
The session began at the Wilson Botanical Gardens. This gem is such a beautiful addition to Wilson! I loved her variety of colors, but especially loved the confidence and comfortability as she changed outfits into her royal blue dress! Her entire dynamic changed! Seniors, if you are reading this, find outfits that give you that confidence and pep in your step. It ALWAYS makes a difference! We ended her session in Historic Downtown Wilson, but in a different area than I usually venture. We stayed at the corner of Barnes and Tarboro Street where beautiful storefronts have continued to pop up including The Barnes Corner Gallery and The Edge. This added simple but elegant backdrops to the last part of her session.
I have to say “thank you” Emerson for making this session SO easy and relaxed! I am so glad that you are part of my Class of 2023 CWCP Spokesmodel Team! Here is a small sneak peek of her session! If you want to learn more about becoming a CWCP Spokesmodel, click here!
