This fall senior session was one that kept me on my toes.   Just when I think I have a groove for senior sessions, one like this pops up and causes me to think outside the box!  Nathaly had such a creative idea to make her experience something a little unique!  She threw the idea of using a fairly crowded place (LaFayette Village) in Raleigh as a backdrop to part of her session.  I had never been there (and if I am honest, had never heard of it!), but it was like we stepped foot into a little European community for just a while!  This is truly a getaway into a timeless environment.  Go Nathaly!

Early Morning Rise for this Senior Session!

To make a place like LaFayette Village workable, I knew we had to avoid heavy foot traffic.  This place is a lively place to be in the evenings!  SO, we arrived at 7AM just as the sun was rising!  If you haven’t heard of this little gem, head on over to learn more!  The little details such as the natural flowers, staircases and stonework made this such a unique place for a session!  Nathaly’s smile is infectious and I had the chance to get to know her mom even better.  These are two absolutely happy and delightful people to work with!  With quick outfit changes in the car, we had two outfits at this location and then moved down the road to E. Carroll Joyner Park for the remainder of her session time.  If you have never been to this open park, visit to learn more! 

Morning Light

Again, with the early hours, the folks were moving heavily along Joyner Park by the time we arrived.  Everyone is always so nice and pleasant there!  This location also has unique features that set it apart from many things here in Wilson.  The unique barns, old homestead aspects make it feel like you are pulled back in time for a little bit!  We also were able to get in one more outfit change at this location. The bathrooms are SO accessible which is a definite bonus for coming here!
